Capt. Phil is a US Coast Guard certified captain and a Florida native who grew up fishing both the Gulf and Atlantic coasts. He specializes in inshore and flats fishing — targeting the seasonal species that migrate through our waters and the resident fish that are here year-round.
He has guided full-time for over 8 years and more than 2,000 trips out of Clearwater, Indian Rocks Beach and Boca Grande, and has never been skunked.
The gear
Capt. Phil runs a 2018 Tidewater 2500 Carolina Bay with a Yamaha F300, fully outfitted with the newest Humminbird electronics, a Minn Kota trolling motor and shallow-water anchors. You fish St. Croix rods and Seviin reels with only the best terminal tackle — and if you want to throw a fly, Orvis rods and reels are on board.
